A ticket taker is an employee whose primary responsibility is to admit properly ticketed guests into the facility and to deny admittance to individuals without tickets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Great each guest with a warm smile and pleasant greeting.
- Be certain that each ticket or pass is valid by checking the event, date and time.
- Admit guests with valid tickets into the facility.
- Direct the guests in the general direction of their seating area.
- Deny admittance to unauthorized individuals.
- Keep the lines of guests moving rapidly and safely.
- Notify guests of policies on cans, bottles, photographs, etc.
